A rare and Interesting early 18th century oak longcase clock of slender proportions with a 3-train, 30 hour verge pendulum movement playing on a nest of six bells. The 10" square brass dial signed my the maker George Tyler, London on the brass chapter ring, enclosing a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial signed Kidgell, Sarum over a calendar aperture (indicating either the owner or resellers name). Dial features include seconds and calendar sub dials and a silent / strike lever.

The case has been professionally restored / conserved, real nice patina. The dial awaits resilvering and the movement will be serviced. No major repairs, the movement / dial is completely original including escapement.
